Exchange Cevi Zürich - YMCA Spitak

An important element in the partnership between YMCA Spitak and Cevi Zürich are the mutual visits.

On the one hand some members of Cevi Zürich’s partner team yearly visit our Armenian friends in Spitak. Main content of those meetings are

- sharing the experiences in the voluntary work

- discussing important topics of the partnership

- getting the news from Home for Future and its programs.

On the other hand every second year about two or three members of YMCA Spitak get the chance to come to Switzerland. Those young leaders thereby get the chance to improve their practical knowledge by joining a scouting camp and other instructive events.

Also the executives come to Switzerland; the main topic of their stay is participation in further educations.

Sometimes some Swiss volunteers also stay in Spitak for a longer time. Such a period enables constant work on a specific topic (for example accounting).

All these different exchanges let our partnership solidify and grow; in personal level as well as the institutional one.
